Job description
We’re looking for a proactive and detail focused professional to support the safe, efficient and compliant delivery of TAG’s flight operations. In this role, you will work closely with senior operational leaders and act as a key technical contact for pilots and CAMs. You will assist with updates and the distribution of the Operations Manuals and minimum equipment lists, aircraft performance data and aerodrome categorisation, and assess airport suitability for TAG aircraft.
You will also support departmental projects, coordinate with manufacturers and regulatory bodies, and help drive improvements through innovative IT based solutions. This position plays a central part in ensuring our documentation, processes and technical support remain accurate, timely and aligned with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
Liaise with DFO, FOSO and Pilot Managers to deliver support consistent with safe, efficient and compliant operation;
Support flight crew in delivering a robust and safe operation. Troubleshooting issues identified and assisting with corrective actions;
Ensure effective, timely compilation & revision control of Operations Manuals;
Manual authoring using WebManuals system
Minimum equipment list amendment and review
Maintain Company Aircraft Performance and Aerodrome Categorisation data;
Assess suitability and briefing creation of airports for TAG aircraft operation and ensure Flight Operations approval;
Proactively monitor Flight Operations manual amendment and online documentation;
Provide Project and Planning Management Support within the Flight Operations Department;
Consult with aircraft manufacturers / suppliers to assist access to updated operational data;
Provide focal point of contact for Flight Operations Technical queries from CAMs and pilots;
Evaluate and develop innovative IT-based methodologies to improve Flight Operations efficiency.
Manage outsourced contracts for Flight Ops online manuals, Mass & Balance and Performance
Provide technical support to Flt Ops Management consistent with safe, efficient and legal operation;
Liaise with other TAG Aviation companies (including TAG Asia) to work towards harmonisation throughout the operation;
Co-ordinate Flight Operations contact with TMCAD, UKCAA, IoMAR, Compliance and third-party auditor queries
Job requirements
GCSEs English & Maths (grade 4 or above) is essential
IT literate is essential
Proficient in Microsoft packages is essential
Passion and understanding of commercial aviation is essential
Team player, detail oriented and committed to service delivery is essential
Previous flying experience is desirable
