Summary of Position

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-organised and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to support our safety and flight data monitoring functions within a dynamic business jet operation. This role plays a key part in ensuring regulatory compliance, effective risk management, and continuous improvement in safety performance.

Key Responsibilities / Duties and Accountabilities 

  • Coordinate and follow up on internal occurrence and accident investigations, ensuring timely closure and documentation

  • Support safety reporting processes, including trend analysis and the preparation of safety performance indicators

  • Manage and maintain safety databases, ensuring accurate data input, monitoring, and evaluation

  • Facilitate hazard identification and risk assessments across operational departments

  • Assist the Nominated Person Safety in liaising with regulatory authorities, auditors, and third-party providers

  • Organise and support safety meetings, including scheduling, preparing materials, and minute-taking

  • Provide administrative and project support for safety initiatives and continuous improvement activities

  • Deliver training on safety software systems and support ERP (Emergency Response Plan) training and exercises

  • Manage Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) processes using Aero bytes, including data download, replay, analysis, onboarding, audits and reporting

  • Maintain safety documentation, including FDM procedures, relevant sections of the Operations Manual, and internal safety communications such as newsletters

  • Participate in external safety seminars and review service contracts relevant to safety operations

  • Conduct assessments of aviation security threats and risks, supporting the organisation’s security management system.

Job requirements

Essential Requirements 

  • Previous office experience and working as a team preferred

  • Experience in Aviation safety

  • Familiarity with UK CAA / EASA Regulations

  • Experience with safety reporting tools and FDM platforms (e.g. Aero bytes) is highly desirable

  • Computer literate, proficient in use of Microsoft packages including, Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint.

  • Personable, polite, well organised, good communication skills, passion for Aviation
